Wreckfest upgrade not working…

I bought the physical copy of Wreckfest. With the series X upgrade came out on the MS store I purchased that for $10. It downloaded and it shows up on my storage device underneath the main game, and it says installed. But the $10 upgrade has no effect on the main game. It just sits there and the main game plays as it played before, without the upgrade! $10 wasted!?

Please make sure to check your console display settings. You need to enable the highest resolution supported by your TV, enable HDR, and set refresh rate. If those are enabled correctly, we could try to refresh your system by performing a power cycle. Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Once done, let's check if you see some improvements on the game upgrade.

The upgrade is available on Xbox through an in game option as it wasn’t part of Microsoft’s free upgrade service.

This should be purchasable in game for $9.99/£9.99

Purchased a digital copy (Complete Edition). Even though I currently have Game Pass, this is a purchased game.

I’ve downloaded this to see if I come across the same problem and can see what you are referring to.

I also get redirected to the store page with a blank screen. I’ve checked some other forums and this seems like a common issue at the moment.

The only advice I can give you on this is to wait for the next update and see if this fixes the issue.
