WOW: Connecting from a hotel/requiring visiting their page to input password

Most hotel online agreements are MAC address based once you accept the terms. You can use an alternative MAC address for your Xbox.

What you do is login to the hotel internet with the cell phone wifi, and then boot up your Xbox using the cell phone's MAC address. Just make sure to disable the cell phone wifi prior to full boot up.

You can't do it from the console.

You need to to get the password from the hotel, and input it via a laptop or phone with a connection. Once activated your console can connect.

Hotel WiFi is really tricky with their usernames and passwords required to use their internet connections. The only fool proof way you'd be able to do this would be to have a PC/Laptop to bridge the connection to be able to connect to LIVE. You can follow the
instructions located here to do this. If you don't know the username/password then unfortunately there's no way around that authentication for the
hotel.

If you connect to Xbox LIVE on hotel internet, you can use Internet Explorer to access the sign-in page.

why cant the xbox connect directly ? is there a sign in page you have to accept ? if that's the case sign in with your laptop then use the MAC address from your laptop and put that in your xbox , same setup to connect to hotel wi fi......
