Would like to help bring attention to my home Xbox being broken

Actually, the color of the star is relative to your color choice for your Home Screen - for example, mine is yellow and looks like the sun (which is appropriate because the sun IS a star). I didn't even consider this until you mentioned it being green, so

I agree that the system is definitely broken. It took at least 3 months for my rep to be restored. I am not giving up on bringing the issue to peoples attention.

I can totally see how not being able to get online at home could be frustrating and confusing.

If you are having connection problems across all your consoles, then I would say that it would make it seem like a problem with your network.

That being said, I would recommend port forwarding your network as outlined in our

Network ports used by Xbox Live on Xbox One article online, as it's usually it's the best way for you to set up your internet to work with Xbox.

When you get a chance, try the reviewing the info and steps there as well as let us know how that helped.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Are the accounts being used on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? The Xbox One has a feature called My Home Xbox. This feature allows one account to share Xbox Live Gold and games to other accounts on the console.
The article entitled
How to Designate an Xbox One Console as Your Home Xbox will explain how to set this up. If the accounts are being used on an Xbox 360, the subscription is not able to be shared to each account. Be sure to let us know the results!
