    Would be nice if the Blue ray app could be updated


    Currently the Blue Ray app is outdated and not optimized for Series SX, the app description doesn’t even mention Series XS consoles. When watching a 4K HDR Blue ray the picture begins to flicker black every second until going fully black but the audio remains playing in the background.

    When watching a 4K HDR movie the Blue ray UI is very laggy and if you want to dashboard to check something the dashboard is very laggy and slow.

    I’m using a Series X with a LG CX. I’ve tried turning off 120hz and VRR but the problem remains. When I use my Xbox one X with the same TV and same HDMI 2.1 cable I have no issues at all. This is clearly a issue with the Series X blue ray app.

    Also are all your Blue Rays legitimate copies for the correct region?

    Games are region free but Blue Ray films are region locked.

    The same happened with me. 3D blu-ray now works, but it's really choppy, making the movies unwatchable. Will this blu-ray app update combined with the august update help the movies run smoother? It would be nice to be able to put away the 3D blu-ray player
    and just use the One for movies.
