Worst case scenario purchasing a brand new Xbox Series X…

So I managed to snag a brand new Xbox Series X after months of trying from my local Target store, brought my console home and started downloading games. I got the Game Pass to try for the first few months, and mostly every game I downloaded would crash the system upon opening the game. Even when I uninstalled and reinstalled the games it would still crash them, also when I reset the Xbox to factory settings it would still do this. What was strange was that the controller would stay on while the system crashed and shut off, forcing me to take the batteries out of the controller. A few games did work, but most did not. I found another thread where people were discussing the same problem and said it was a hardware problem and to call Microsoft support and set up a claim and send it back in to get a refurbished console, so I eventually decided to do it. I filed a claim and Microsoft emailed me a shipping label to send it back to them. The shipping said 11-14 days to ship to the repair center, then I should get a confirmation that they got it and another confirmation that they sent out a replacement. On June 6th I boxed up my Xbox in the box that it came in (without the controller and cables like the ship back instructions said) and then put that box in another box with the label they sent me on it and waited for the UPS driver at my work to pick it up along with all our other packages… A few days go by and I look at the tracking info and it still says “Label Created” but does not say shipped yet, when I know a driver picked it up for me. I have called Xbox support every day for almost 2 weeks trying to get tracking info for it and they say it still hasn’t been shipped out also, but maybe wait the 11-14 days it was supposed to take to get to their repair center and it may still arrive. It has now been about a whole month and the tracking still says “Label Created” and not shipped, when I know it has been. I talk to a new person from Microsoft every day, and have even talked to supervisors, no one can tell that it has shipped and Xbox will not refund me or do anything to help unless I have a receipt that proves it was shipped, but it was picked up by a driver who didn’t provide me with a receipt. I’ve tried everything to find it, called Microsoft every day for weeks, tried calling UPS and filing a claim through them, I’ve waited a month to see if it got lost and maybe would be shipped back to my return address, everything I can think of… Does anyone have any kind of advice? I just want a working Xbox back, or my money back at this point. Hard to believe I bought a brand new Xbox Series X from the store and it doesn’t work and then gets lost in shipping and I’m out everything…
