Worlds on Minecraft: Bedrock edition take forever to save! Why is this happening?

Seems to work fine now after re-installing Minecraft (Made sure to save worlds in the cloud). If the problem ever occurs, I'll let Mojang Know. Thank you for the help!

I can advise you couple things, but if the issue persists the next step will be contact Mojang support. Due to this Xbox community forums are more intended to fix issues with Xbox consoles and PC.

Do you know if your PS5 received recently an update or check if maybe there's an update for it?

If you have another PSN account, could you try creating a world on that account if possible and try saving the progress to see how it goes?

And, did you tried reinstalling the game?

**Don't forget to backup worlds just in case

If maybe the issue persists and you have the game installed on a external hard drive, try moving it to the internal just to isolate even more the issue before contacting Mojang.

Minecraft saves are backed up on both the Cloud and on the console. Unfortunately if you the saved world has already been deleted from the old Xbox, there's no way of getting the worlds back. I suffered it when transferring my Xbox One Edition worlds to
Bedrock edition, unfortunately nothing can be done.

To sync a Minecraft Bedrock Edition world from a PC to an Android phone, you can follow these steps:

On your PC, go to the "Saved Worlds" folder for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This folder is usually located at "C:\Users[Yourusername]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds".

Find the world you want to sync in the "Saved Worlds" folder and copy it to a location on your PC that is easy to access, such as the desktop.

Connect your Android phone to your PC using a USB cable.

On your Android phone, open the "Files" app.

In the "Files" app, navigate to the folder where you want to save the world on your Android phone.

On your PC, drag the world folder from its current location and drop it into the folder on your Android phone.

Once the transfer is complete, disconnect your Android phone from your PC.

On your Android phone, open Minecraft Bedrock Edition and select the world you just transferred from the "Saved Worlds" menu.
