    We're sorry to hear that you are unable to launch the Wordament because it keeps on loading. This is not the experience that Microsoft wishes you to have. Marci Ridgway, it really is important for us to get this worked on so you can get back to gaming. However, we found out the game support page has made an improvement which they announce on their main page link: Microsoft Casual Games. The page says about the new update that you would like to check out.

    I'm Wille, an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Errors pointing to the core system KERNALBASE.dll are usually related to hardware issues, but for us to investigate, I would need some information, please reply:

    -Only the game Dark Souls 3 that has this problem? Or other games too?

    - Do any Microsoft Store or Xbox games have this error?

    -What are the technical specifications of your PC or Notebook? Please quote Memory RAM, video card, motherboard, SSD and/or HDD.

    Even if you answer all these questions, try the step below:

    1. Log in to your Steam account from the Steam client.

    2. Open your Steam Library. Click the Library tab. ...

    3. Right-click the appropriate game, and then click Properties. ...

    4. Click the Local Files tab.

    5. Click Verify integrity of game files. ...

    6. After the files are successfully validated, close the Properties window.

    Please, if the procedure does not work out, answer the questions above in detail so that I can understand and help you in the best way.
