Wordament not working on my desktop

Please, try reseting the Microsoft Store:

Press Windows button + R to open Run Command.

Type "wsreset" in the dialog box and press enter.

Then restart your device and try to download the game again.

Let me know if it works!

I get the same error on my phone (IOS). However, if I access from my Microsoft Desktop, there are no issues. I suspect there are two different versions or server farms Wordament operates from as my statistics are (significantly) different between phone
and desktop versions.

when you play the original version of Wordament on other devices (for example, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8/10). Don’t worry – you’ll be able to earn new achievements and progress as part of Microsoft Ultimate Word Games!

At launch, you’ll notice that Frenemies are not available, but this will be included in a future update.

If you play on Windows Phone 8/10, iOS, or Android then you can continue to play the original version of Wordament without any changes.

I think my question was misunderstood because this answer doesn't address it. I have a laptop and a desktop. MS Ultimate Word Games Daily Challenge is on both and I play them on either depending on which machine I am using at the moment. I also play Sudoku
Daily Challenges and Mahjong Daily Challenges. Both Mahjong and Sudoku are in sync between the 2 computers so when I complete a day on my laptop, my desktop shows the day complete. However beginning in May, my Ultimate Word Daily Challenge does not work that
way. Whatever day I complete on my laptop does not show completed on my desktop and visa versa.

I'm having the same problem. Not just with Mahjong but with Taptiles, Solitaire, and Wordament. Each morning after booting up my computer each game will load but then it shuts down and is placed on the taskbar on the desktop. It opens on the desktop but
does the same thing. It loads then shuts down.

I've had to uninstall and reinstall each game every morning in order to get them to work. This is a major hassle. I upgraded from Win 8 to Win 8.1 and now this problem has popped up with these 4 games. All my other games work fine. So, what is the problem
with those 4 Xbox games?

Help in resolving this problem would be super. Thanks!
