    I see you say you reset the router, but did you reset the modem itself?

    If not, you will need to or the xbox wont verify connection.

    Is there a fix to this?

    I can verify Ddraig's suggestion. Your disc is damaged, and wont work, but it's enough for verification if you can install from a borrowed copy.
