    Hi all

    I’m having issues verifying my account. It won’t send the code to my emails

    It started when my child was asked for verification on the Xbox. We put the correct password in and it asked for verification by email. It put my email up on the screen to check but I noticed it had 2 too many asterisk for the letters in the first part of my email address and I believe this is why it won’t send emails but when I tried to proceed it did show my email as correct.

    I managed to recover the account through another email address and I can log back in but when I want check/change my security or privacy it’s asking for verification but I still have the same issue with no email!!

    Any ideas as I am now getting very frustrated

    Just for extra info. Nothing has changed on my account in regards to phone number or emails. I also tried using the Microsoft Authenticator app and have the same issue

    It may be a delay in the services, you could try at another time of the day and request the code again, if the problem persists there may be a problem with your account, if so it is advisable to contact technical support directly through the following link:

    I really hope your problem is solved soon, remember in advance that in this forum we are only gamers like you, we are not Microsoft employees. Therefore we do not have access to accounts but we provide the best help at our disposal.

    Perfect then, I can suggest some recommendations to keep your account more secure, among them are:

    1. always keep your information up to date
    2. Don't share your password with anyone
    3. activate 2FA
    4. Be careful with suspicious links from strange pages, they can hack you if you are not careful.
