Won't let me sign into microsoft on minecraft

This issue usually occurs when there is a conflict between a Microsoft account and another account. Although you don't see the other account on PlayStation, there may be some account settings or previous links that are causing the problem. Here are some methods you can refer to:



1. Check the status of the Microsoft account link:
Visit the Microsoft Account website.
Log in to your Microsoft account to see if another device or account is linking Minecraft.
If there are unwanted links, try to unlink them.



2. Re-verify the link between your PlayStation and Microsoft account:
You can try to rebind your Microsoft account within the Minecraft game on PlayStation.
Go to Settings > Accounts > Linked Accounts in the game to see if you can unlink and then rebind.



3. Disconnect and relink your account:
If you have a linked account on your PlayStation (even if it's invisible), try disconnecting your Microsoft account in Minecraft and logging back in to link it.



4. Check the privacy and security settings of your Microsoft account:
Check the privacy and security settings in the Microsoft website to make sure there are no restrictions preventing you from logging in.
Clear your cache or reinstall the game:

Since you have experienced this issue, this means that your PlayStation Network account was previously associated with a different Microsoft/Minecraft account.

Please note that only one Microsoft account can be associated with any PlayStation account at any one time. Neither the Microsoft or PlayStation Network accounts can be associated with a different account.

That's strange, as soon as you open minecraft launcher you see that window?
I ask this because even the minecraft launcher for windows 7/8.1 have the Microsoft account login (now required because the account migration is mandatory)

Just to double check, please reinstall the launcher (delete the current one)

Doin' fine. Still a little bummed obvs but all good.

I would delete and redownload the launcher but I have had problems with the launcher (such as the Runtime Environment Error and others), so I downloaded the alternatefile for Windows 7/8, Minecraft itself instead of the launcher.

We need to make sure that the game is successfully purchased under the account that you're using, please follow the steps below:

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check if you can see the subscription from there.

Once confirmed, sign out on Microsoft Store App as well as Xbox App then sign back in. Make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account.
