    i got a laptop recently and logged in with Microsoft using the same account on my xbox. out of nowhere i now cant click onto youtube or netflix on my xbox without it mentioning restrictions from an adult, i checked to see if there where any and there wasn't.

    Hey Ella,

    To allow app access on xbox one, please follow the instructions here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb...-account-block-inappropriate-apps-games-media

    ^This gives you the exact options you need to adjust and set to allow, along with the relevant privacy settings and account restrictions.

    You can make these changes on your console, online on the xbox website or through the xbox family settings app.

    When adjusting any settings, make sure you’re signed into the correct account. Save and confirm any changes when done, for these changes to take effect.

    If you’re a child in a family, the adult will need to change content restrictions for you.

    You may also want to restart your console after changing these settings.

    Way things are going. Smartphones, ect. Multiple uses from one device. I always see so many "I don't care about tv, Netflix, ect" comments, yet almost any time you pull up your friends list, at least half are on netflix, hulu, or YouTube.

    I've done the most and am still not able to sign into my account. Best part is Im unable to use any apps (Netflix, hulu, youtube, ect.) Because they ALL REQUIRE ME TO SIGN IN.

    lol, I get that from some of my XBL friends yet they are always using HBO GO or Xfinity
