    Won't let me download games with gold free game without credit card.


    All of a sudden now i need a credit card on my account to download the free games. But I have money on my account shouldn't that be enough. And I don't want to put my card on my account becuse xbox has a tendency of geting hacked and I don't feel safe doing
    that.

    Games with gold is trying to charge me.

    Well I just added operation flashpoint and sacred 3 to my downloads, both say free yet both needed my credit card, really need to work on the store and maybe ditch this credit card thing. I have Gold, let me download it without giving CC details if it's

    You need a credit card on your account to download Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One due to 360 Marketplace rules. If you don't want to put your credit card on the account, the best option is buying a prepaid CC at some place like Walmart, and adding that
    to the account.

    Or simply rent or borrow a xbox 360 to get the free games

    Fyi you are only garentee the game sif you follow the rules and requirements of xbox live

    Creditcard and matching regions are art of those requirements as far as the Web page goes

    Only other option is matching region and console

    And your always had to have a creditcard on file for 360games even free ones from the website

    Only by using a 360 console . could you skip that requirement

    It's only xbox one that tdidnt require it

    Download wont even start for me. It is this month's free game with gold. It is the 16th here. Wont let me start the download. Keeps asking for credit card even though it says free. I'm a gold member not sure what the problem is. Maybe to early? But
    shows the game in the search engine and says free.

    Until the website is update with currency, you can download the free game via your Xbox without having to worry with the credit card. Alternatively you can add your credit card, but it won't be charged as it should show Free on the total price when downloading

    Impossible to redeem Games With Gold for 360

    Hi, thanks for the reply. I have the 1 month trial (with credit card), and it let me download the two Xbox one games. It's just the Xbox 360 one I can't download.

    Also, the Games With Gold FAQ (support.xbox.com/.../games-with-gold-faq) specifically says the Gold membership trials with credit card are elligible.
    I did input my credit card info.
