Won’t let me download game on 360

So I bought metal gear rising revengeance on my Xbox one and I try to download it on my 360 and it doesn’t work. I press the download again button and when it tries to bring it up it stops. I don’t know what to do

I understand you need help on your Xbox 360 game.

Try to reset the update on your Xbox 360 and see if this will help.

Go to Settings>>System>>Storage>>highlight the storage device>>Press LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X simultaneously. It will prompt to delete the update then hit yes to restart.

After another update, try to download the game again see how it goes.

If it does not work, try another storage device or a USB flash drive to download the game to.

The Xbox One marketplace is more likely to be an Xbox One game. There are Xbox 360 games on there that you can purchase to play on Xbox One but not forward compatible if they were not bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace. I believe that is the case.

Oh, I see. So everything is working now, right? It may be because the game was not bought directly on the Xbox 360 marketplace but purchased through the Xbox One marketplace.

And I am using the same account on my 360 as my Xbox one

It’s still finicky on working and not working but ya it’s because I purchased it on the Xbox one marketplace. Which I find a bit stupid because I bought an Xbox 360 game on an Xbox one yet I still can’t play it on the 360 but what can you do
