Won’t let me change my gamer tag with the word Boss at the start

Thanks for confirming. Please be advised that the gamertag system is being managed alone by the system. It filters the gamertag we can use based on their system algorithm. I am afraid that we cannot use that kind of gamertag if the system does not allow us to use it. We're not certain why but it's possible that it's not appropriate to be used because it may be offensive or inappropriate to all audiences.

I suggest that you instead choose a different style or type of gamertag. You friends may have already acquired those gamertags before the changes made into the system.

I have been in a chat with someone from Microsoft she says she’s looking into it and will email me but also told me to put this forum up

It says gamer tag is not allowed try a different one but my friends have Boss at the start of their names and I have tried numerous different names just doesn’t work don’t see how Boss isn’t allowed

May I exactly know the error message it gives you when you try to change it to that gamertag?

For me it just says "Something went wrong. Try your gamer tag again" and won’t do anything. Even trying it online doesn’t work. Won’t let me confirm that I want to change it.
