hi there, sorry to hear you are having problems when you turned your xbox back on did it come up with the green start up screen?

if it did thats great if not then your power cycle failed. when you have unplugged from the mains make sure you wait until the light on the power block has fully gone off before plugging it back in.

Hello, reset your Xbox to factory settings only by deleting your account. Without deleting games and applications. This workaround will remove this issue.

Go to Settings> Account> Delete accounts.

If the “Sign in with Microsoft” button in Minecraft just greys out, but you’re already signed into the Xbox app and Microsoft Store, here are a few things to try:

1. Run Minecraft as administrator

Close Minecraft completely.

Find the Minecraft Launcher shortcut, right-click it, and choose Run as administrator.

Try the “Sign in with Microsoft” button again—sometimes elevated permissions let the popup open properly.

2. Repair the Minecraft Launcher and game files

Press Windows + I to open Settings, then go to Apps > Installed apps.

Find Minecraft Launcher, click the three dots, and select Advanced options.

Click Repair. If that doesn’t help, go back and click Reset.

Launch the launcher again and try signing in.

3. Check that required Xbox services are running

Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.

Look for Gaming Services, Xbox Live Auth Manager, and Xbox Live Networking Service.

If any are “Stopped,” right-click and select Start. Make sure their Startup type is set to Automatic.

4. Clear any cached credentials

Open Credential Manager (type that into the Start menu).

Under Windows Credentials, remove any entries for “Xbox” or “Minecraft.”

Restart your PC, then open Minecraft and try signing in again.

5. Sign into your Microsoft account in Windows first

Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info and make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account you own Minecraft with.

Then open the Minecraft Launcher and click “Sign in with Microsoft” again.

If none of these steps work, let me know what happens at each stage, especially if any errors pop up or if a service won’t start. We’ll keep troubleshooting until Minecraft lets you sign in.
