    Hi,

    Firstly, let me make this clear, this isn't a question as I'm not having tech issues. It's not really to complain either. More my musings.

    So I was wondering, is Wolfenstein Youngblood on the PC game pass beta the same as the version on Steam?

    On first loading up, it all seems to be there, but all is not as it appears.

    Wolfenstein Youngblood issues:

    • Game has no dedicated 'Full Screen' support. This causes serious frame rate issues. It only has Windowed and Windowed Borderless.
    • DirectX 12 support is not implemented. Which leads me to my next point.
    • No RTX ray tracing support. Which is funny considering that there is an RTX setting toggle. Problem is, it doesn't work.
    • Equally, as there is no DirectX 12 support, DLSS doesn't work either.

    I know this is a beta and everything, but why put graphics settings into games that don't function? And this isn't the first time. Metro Exodus on PC Game Pass has no DX12 function either.

    I own these two games. Wofenstein YB on Steam and Exodus from Epic Store. These versions are fully fledged. Anyone else noticed these shortcomings.

    I know that games released on Game Pass PC can be different than retail releases. Like, no achievements, or PC settings we expect to be there. I think this is a dev decision so they can get their games on Game Pass.

    i usually cull some of them now and then, once it goes grey that will never be used again and it creates a new one when starting the game again, i usually sit there and right click and remove each one lol.

    they have really got to think of a better system

    all other game fronts install in a folder like normal and you can browse those files, these i dont like as they cause unwanted errors and probably incur overheads which could potentially eat up system resources.

    go to device manager then select disk drives, then click view up top menu then show hidden devices, you will see a long list of xvd devices, this also causes an entry in the event viewer about a disk drive being removed unexpectedly (only happens when
    you quit the gamepass game), only a yellow warning, i dug deeper and they were in fact the gamepass games.
