    WMM active cause Problems with Party and Nat


    Hey There, Since WMM Tag is in Alpha Skip Ahead integrated it cause Problems like,

    No Nat Type Party Audio wont Connect Some Multiolay issues

    When deactivate it works fine, with active i also get "Teredo Ip Problems" message in xbox Network/Multiplayer Test.

    I Use the series x with AVM Fritzbox Cable 6591 snd 6660, in an Cable Isp with Native Ipv6 (no tunnel).

    The Cable Routers are able to work with wmm, also ko Problems with Windows 11 Devices and WMM.

    So, there more of is with this Problem? I Think ist in the XBox Firmware/Driver side.

    Wireless, Open NAT, UPNP enabled, ports forwarded, no double NAT, STILL CANT CONNECT TO XBL!

    @IgoTSondabrain.

    don't know why it works - it seems the way it is implemented in some routers causes more problems then helps. Most times apple devices get problems if WMM is enabled. If you google there are many people with Problems with WMM enabled.

    But you are right the WLAN is slower if WMM is disabled. But if you have Problems you should try to turn off WMM.

    Whats your NAT setting? This can tend to cause some problems with partys and chatting.

    I get kicked whenever I join a party.

    Make sure that your NAT is set to open. If not then it can cause this to happen. I had this same problem when i was in cod4 back in the days and trying to get in party's was hard with my NAT not all the way open.

    Can't connect to Xbox Live party.

    Your problem can also be caused by your friends inability to be in a party due to their NAT. Also, some games at times don't allow party chat for whatever reason so game chat is required. Good luck!

    Tested NAT and it says its open right now,

    But it does say DSCP tagging disabled

    WMM tagging disabled whatever that means

    Really appreciate the help so thanks again
