    With standard (TWC) cable, a Scientific Atlanta box, what are DVR solutions?


    Can XBOX record shows?

    Right now, I think if I could do that I wouldn't go back to analog remote.

    I know that my pause, stop and play commands do nothing to the signal.

    Are there any solutions for record schedules?

    I have DVR/OnDemand functionality.....

    I didnt think this was supposed work through the Xbox One? Anyone else know if they added it or i just got lucky w/my cable provider? I have charter with a scientific Atlanta HD/DVR box.......

    G'day PAYNE. Xbox One is not currently able to record shows, just game clips. The alternative right now is to use the DVR provided by your cable company. It would be pretty neat to see that functionality built in though! Would you mind sharing your thoughts

    xbox won't change channels through voice commend nor controller

    Same thing is happening to me. Cablevision is the provider. Scientific Atlanta explorer 4250hd is the cable box type

    Xbox one tv stopped working.

    Same issue for me. This also affects my ability to play games - either from the HD or the disc. In this case, it stopped me from playing Dead Rising 3.

    Samsung HPT4254XXAA

    TWC / Scientific Atlanta

    Cable Box -> HDMI -> XB1 -> HDMI -> TV

    Hard reset fixes it, problem comes back within a few hours. Seems like a high priority bug.

    XBOX One is INCOMPATIBLE with TIME WARNER CABLE!?

    TWC with a Samsung HD DVR box, working fine for me, though I had to put it as a time warner cable box not a samsung box for it to work
