3. Search your old emails or receipts

Check all the inboxes you’ve used—look for terms like:

“Minecraft migration”

“Microsoft account”

“Mojang”

“Your purchase confirmation”

Even if you just find a Mojang migration notice, it may include the destination email you used for the Microsoft migration.

Also, if you used a credit card or PayPal, check your bank history for a Minecraft or Microsoft charge. The date and transaction ID can help when talking to support.

4. Don’t log out of Lunar Client

You mentioned you're still signed in on that one device. Do not log out of Lunar Client until you recover the email and password. That active session is your last direct link to the account.

Once you recover the Microsoft account, yes—you’ll be able to use that same Minecraft Java account on other devices through the official launcher. The Lunar Client uses your Microsoft login, so once you reset the password and regain access, you’ll be free to use it elsewhere.

5. If nothing else works, contact Minecraft Support

Account Recovery

In your message, explain:

You migrated your Java account from Mojang to Microsoft

You’re still signed in through Lunar Client but lost access to the login credentials

They may ask for additional verification, but since you still have account access via Lunar, that helps your case.

This is one of those situations where the account itself is safe, but the login details got disconnected somewhere along the way. The key is to identify the Microsoft account tied to your Java license and work from there—starting with whatever you can find in Lunar.

did not help at all. and no its not a problem with the browser cause i cant log in to xbox too. and i had minecraft in this account but now it says i dont have minecraft account in this account. like what is actually going on with microsoft ? I can even proove that i had minecraft because at the time i had minecraft i played using lunar client and badlion client and i had minecraft purchased using the email address that I am having trouble logging into. I can proove I had minecraft because when i log into lunar or badlion client using this email address they log me into my account with exact same username and the skin. please give me some solutions i asked miencraft about this and they said they cannot help and i have to ask from microsoft.
