    Will there ever be a chat only wireless headset. I do not want or need a bulky heavy stereo wireless gaming headset, when I have 7.1 surround sound to hear my game. I am quite tired of buying $8 - $20 wired chat headsets that wire is damaged everytime
    do not sit perfectly still. A sneeze = a new headset. I have small children that like to climb up on my lap and watch or play games. All it takes is one sudden move and it costs me more money. I would pay as much or even more than the cost of the stupid
    bulky gaming headset verses $8 - $20 every 6 - 8 months.

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums regarding this situation. Sorry to hear you are running into this problem with your chat headsets, unfortunately there is no news regarding Xbox releasing a wireless chat headset at this moment. I know the Xbox
    360 Console had the small Wireless Chat Headset unfortunately there is nothing at the moment for the Xbox One.

    I understand that you don't have the need for a wireless stereo headset but if you would like a wireless headset that would be what is available at the moment. If you do wish to use a chat headset then you would have to opt for the wired options that we
    have online on the
    Xbox Accessories     site.

    Are you meaning just having a microphone and it going through the 7.1 speakers instead of wearing a headset?. That would be down to the manufacturers for such thing and I do think there is a way to do that already with the xbox one settings
