    Wireless Turtle Beach headset picking up as a controller


    My wireless Turtle Beach headset picks up as a controller once I get to certain menus in games. For examples, when I open Minecraft, once I get to the main menu I’ll have to turn off my controller and headset then turn only my controller on to be able to navigate the main menu. It’s a similar issue when I play NBA 2k25, but it occurs when I get to the park resulting in me having to do the same process. Also when I play MLB The Show 25, when I get the “Dynamic Challenge” menu selection I get the same issue not being able to move around. But with this menu, if I do the process said before, when I actually go to bat I cannot move my pci or swing the bat making the game unplayable unless I completely turn off my headset and keep it off.

    Edit: I use a Xbox Elite Controller 2, and the headset uses a usb to my Xbox Series S. I also have already tried updating my controller and that didn’t work.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with your Wireless Turtle Beach headset where it is being detected as a controller.

    There are existing thread on some forums where multiple users are affected by this issue. Because of this, I am thinking that this is more of a bug that's caused by the device.
