    ok this is now getting a pain. originally was once every week or so but now it is every night and sometimes twice in a night

    when i power up my xbox one it cannot find my home network. run through the use usual checks reboot etc and it still doesnot appear.

    only way to getit to appear is to power off the xbox remove the power cable wait a couple of minutes and plug it back in again.

    every other item in the house connects to the wifi without a problem.

    It will then run for a while but will eventually drop out again and the process has to be repeated.

    I am also seeing a intermitent video error nto sure if that is connected.

    You will need a wireless bridge and connect it into your Xbox` ethernet port and place the bridge outside or near a window.

    Hi Tae,

    Is this error coming up on an Xbox one? Would you be able to clarify any steps done to troubleshoot this 'DCHCP' error.

    I would suggest to follow the steps on
    "I get an error message when I run the 'Test network connection' on Xbox One"

    It will have the option to choose the error message that's showing up on the Xbox One, here you'll choose "Can't connect to your DHCP server" and from there it will continue guiding you.
