Wireless Repeaters/Range Extenders: connect Xbox One S to a network Hard disk

You need to use a USB 3 external drive plugged directly into the Xbox. There is no facility to use a network Hard Drive.

Is this error coming up on an Xbox one? Would you be able to clarify any steps done to troubleshoot this 'DCHCP' error.

I would suggest to follow the steps on
"I get an error message when I run the 'Test network connection' on Xbox One"

It will have the option to choose the error message that's showing up on the Xbox One, here you'll choose "Can't connect to your DHCP server" and from there it will continue guiding you.

The issue sounds like it's coming from the two routers communicating with each other, and then to your console. You may want to look into a

wireless repeater/range extender to boost your signal instead of using a second router. This will ensure that the secondary device is only extending the wireless signal to your console and not complicating it.

That is happening to me as well. Did you find out how to fix it?
