    Wireless headset won’t assign itself


    So I’m on the current Alpha-Skip build and use a RIG 800 wireless headset. Every time I boot up my console the headset assigns itself for audio but for chat I have to always go into the accessories app to assign it to my profile for party or in-game chat functions. I have reported through the console as well.

    If it's on a seperate Quadrant, than yes, it will stay on.. But, if it is assigned to a specific controller quadrant, than it will turn off or lose sync with the controller..

    Plus, if you insert a wired headset to a controller, that has a assigned wireless headset, the wireless headset disconnects...

    Hi, to add to XBF Brad A's post are you using a wireless headset and are you in the Xbox insider Preview. At the moment there is an issue with an Insider build that doesn't assign wireless headsets. Go into settings and check your headset is assigned.

    Another thing to check, is enforcement to see if you have a suspension:

    The other headset does work, and I don't have any suspensions, and the new headset assigns itself to my Xbox without issue. I'll see about contacting the company that owns the headset too.

    If its a wireless headset if you go to devices and accessories in your settings sometimes the headset gets assigned to a different profile than the one your using thats what causes that issue for me at times but as soon as you assign it back to your profile
    it should work
