    Hi

    So, I have recently ordered a wireless xbox one controller, as my old china-copy of the xbox360 controller broke.

    It has been working fine with my Windows 10 PC over bluetooth, but one strange thing is that everytime I reboot or turn of the PC, then controller will not reconnect with the PC and I have remove the device and re-pair the controller to the PC. This is quite
    annoying to do every single time.

    I have made sure that my Windows 10 PC has all the latest updates for Windwos as well as checked the firmware status for the controller using the Xbox Accessories App from the Windows Store.

    Has anyone else experience similar issues or does anyone perhaps have a solution for the above?

    If I own an Xbox 360E and an Xbox ONE wireless controller with a wireless pc adapter can I connect the Xbox ONE controller to the Xbox 360 through the pc adapter?

    Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

    The OP posted this thread under the "Gaming on Windows PC/PC Gaming" category of the Xbox forums. Also contrary to popular belief, the Xbox One console does not support Bluetooth wireless technology. The controllers connect to the console using a proprietary
    wireless technology unique to the console and the
    Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10    . Bluetooth connectivity is reserved for Windows 10 only and available on current production of Xbox One wireless controllers.

    I hope that clears things up.

    For wireless Xbox 360 controllers, you cannot use the charging cable to connect to a PC (it only transfers power, not data). To use the controller with a PC, you will either need an "Xbox 360 controller for Windows" (non-detachable cable) or use your existing
    wireless controller with the wireless gaming receiver for Windows.

    Observe how the copy says:

    Note that it says any XBox Wireless controller. If it only works for XBox One controllers, that is, at the very least, misleading.

    It appears that I will have to avail myself of the "hassle-free returns" policy.
