    Wireless Gaming Adapters: New router.. MAC address??
    I bought a new router but cant connect my Xbox to the Wi-Fi. It's saying my router or modem may be filtering out some devices. How do I make sure its not filtering out my Mac address and connect to the Wi-Fi?

    OK, here's a thought, in the MAC address panel of your router's config, are you entering the MAC of the xbox hard wired or the wireless adapter MAC?

    Cannot connect to network, but xbox can detect signal

    My router is a D-Link DIR-615

    The Wireless adapter is internal (new 360 slim)

    MAC filtering is off

    I have already restored to factory default... but to no avail.

    OK, here's a thought, in the MAC address panel of your router's config, are you entering the MAC of the xbox hard wired or the wireless adapter MAC?

    Trouble

    You could add your Xbox's MAC address to the allowed list in your router's configuration page and it will allow it online.

    To locate your Xbox's MAC address go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings. The MAC Addresses for the wired and wireless adapters will be displayed. Write them down as they are long.

    [/quote] That's what I forgot to do was change the IP. It's now moderate but my DL is now 6mb from when it was 13mb on strict.

    I really hate how difficult this Uverse router is.
