Wireless audio is cutting out on xbox series x

So I have been using the official xbox wireless headset and for some reason whenever I start up the console the audio starts cutting out when doing anything. The only way to fix this is to reset the console. I am on a 4 month old series x and this has been happening for about a month. I've tried basically every fix I've found online and nothing helps. Any ideas would be helpful though. Because restarting the console everytime is really annoying.

[PC] Xbox Wireless Headset + Dolby Atmos = Audio Stuttering

I am also experiencing audio cut out/ stuttering. I have narrowed it down to the adapter that I am using (Windows 10 Adapter for controller). I have an Xbox Series X where I can play Warzone as a comparison. I do not get the same audio cuts outs playing on Xbox as I do on PC playing Warzone and when I disable Dolby Atmos on PC the cut out stops completely.

From what I can tell this is a support issue of the adapter to deal with the increase data to the Xbox wireless headset..... just my findings.

Wireless headphones xbox series x audio cutting in and out

    Hi scott,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your headset. Are you using an official Xbox wireless headset? If yes, please make sure your headset is updated with the latest firmware using the Xbox Accessories app. On Xbox X|S and Xbox One consoles, you can access the Accessories app in the Settings menu: Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories.

Note: The Xbox Wireless Headset needs to be powered on and connected to your console or device in order to update its settings in the Accessories app. Depending on how many accessories are connected to your console or device at the time, you may need to scroll left or right to bring up the headset configuration screen

If you're still having issues, please reset your settings to resync your audio. Please follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output > Audio Testing & Details > Reset audio settings

    Regards,

    Alvaro

    Hello Alvaro

Yes I am using the official xbox wireless headset and it is updated with the latest version already. Also I have already tried resetting my audio settings and that hasn't worked either

Series X and wireless Headsets issues

I'm surprised you have been unable to replicate the issue...or that no-one is aware of it as it has been an issue since the console's release. Here's an article written last December about needing to constantly press a button or move a stick on the controller:

    https://www.gamerevolution.com/guid...t-fix-wireless-turtle-beach-astro-steelseries

    From the article:

"Microsoft is aware of the Xbox Series X|S wireless headset audio glitch and ” looking to resolve the issue in a future update” at the time of writing"

Mind you, there is nothing in the linked Microsoft page to indicate it is aware of the issue so not sure.

From what I recall from other threads on the issue, cut scenes are the worst as they can sometimes be a few minutes long. Gears of War has been mentioned often as all the games have some long cut scenes...Gears 5 especially

I found an article which I recalled reading a while ago where the issue seems to have been resolved last december for some headsets (whether by accident or by design):
