  1. wireless analog controller mapping/bindings problem?

    I

want to be able to use my controller with win 7 wirelessly, the problem

is that the functions are not bound to the correct function..I have a

windows xbox 1 controllerwireless adaptor which seems to work, but there

are issues with RT/LT not binding correctly buttons binding to wrong

    function right anolog stick etc

However if I remove the wireless adaptor and instead use a usb/micro usb cable all functions work as intended...

How can I get my xbox 1 wireless controller to work correctly using the

wireless method....I also have ps4 (dualshock 4) wireless controllers

and they work fine using bluetooth...

my operating system is windows 7

    Update:

    that

should of read "the buttons are not bound to their respective

functions.." ie pressing LT/RT actually correspond to select

start (ds4) share/options which is not right...B button actually

corresponds to X ....and so on....like i said it will work fine cabled

via USB/micro USB cable, but i want to use it wirelessly..

sry if this is posted in wrong section i wasn't sure where it sjhould be posted ..

    :)

  2. Wireless controller not binding!

1.Push the "Reset" button on the system to recalibrate the controller and reset the control stick to the neutral (center) position. Do not touch the control stick.

2 Alternately, press the "X", "Y" and "Start/Pause" buttons simultaneously for three seconds during gameplay, making sure to not touch the control stick.

3 Unplug the controller and re-insert it while the system is on.

4 Insert another controller in the same port. If the problem disappears, you know the problem is with the controller, in which case it may need to be repaired.

    Wireless controller not binding!

Hi there! I just wanted to know if there is a fix to my issue because, as the subject explains, my wireless controller turns on but its not binding to console and replacement is not an option because is already out of warranty (sadly it expired like 2 weeks
    ago)

    Things I've tried:

    1. Turn on console with controller

    2. Press connect button both on console and on controller at the same time for several seconds

    3. No metallic objects interfering

    4. Plug in a play&charge kit to controller but lights keep flashing (play&charge kit is working because i tested it with a different controller)

    5. Test controller in a different console

    6. Tried with different batteries (AA and rechargables)

    Thanks in advance!

  5. thx for the fb but this info only applies to the xbo console, i don't have a console, I just have a controller, i used it fine for ages using a cable, but since i let my accident prone nephew use it he's broke the controllers rear usb connection port, and
now it functions intermittently, he also did the same to the ds4 ps4 controllers i mentioned however the controllers themselves fine, hence why decided to go the wireless option..... it's for certain some kind of config issue, because the wireless adaptor
works fine installing all neccassary drivers, and the controller is fine as evident by the fact it works with a cable, allbeit now intermittently and sporadically.....so how can i resolve this issue?....I read somewhere someone mapping an ordinary controller
by editing a key in regedit, so has that something to do with this?

    thx again for the reply..

can i use xbox 360 wireless controller with my xbox360?

You don't need to plug the reciever from the set into your Xbox 360 console (in fact the reciever wouldn't work on the console).

Instead, simply bind the controller itself to your console directly, as per
    the instructions that Taidara linked
    .

Only the PC will need the wireless reciever.

If you wish to use the controller on the PC again, you'll have to bind the controller with the wireless reciever on your PC again, by pressing the button on the wireless reciever, and the bind button on the controller.
OK I'll try binding it. Thanks guys!
