    Wired Internet Connection Issue(Omega Ring)


    I had a Wired Internet connection set up on my xbox, but recently it turned off on me when a massive thunderstorm happened at my place. The xbox is fine but my Wired connection is not working. It detects the cable but says "NAT TYPE: Getting info...." but never does. I have already tried restarting my xbox and all of that but it didn't work. The reason I post this here is because my xbox is in the Omega Preview ring.

    G'day,

    You didn't mention... what ring is the console in? A B D or Omega

    Is it wired or WiFi?

    I suggest you Factory refresh your console with a wired connection to the router, without the external drive connected, but first I would power cycle the router and wait... until the router is fully functional before turning the console back on and seeing
    if the update completes.

    Also if you have Instant On setting change it to Power Saving.

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.
