    Wired Controller Won't work.


    On my Wired controller (Xbox) it WILL NOT turn on and does not activate or do anything. I have a working cable and I think my controller is the issue, I can take out the cable from my controller. Also I have another wired controller that works fine on
    the same USB port on the Xbox. Do you guys know how to fix?

    Wired Controller Won't work.

    Unfortunately that means that it is out of warranty, but perhaps you could try exchanging it from the retailer that you purchased it. In my opinion, I don't think that repairing controllers is worth it and not knowing how servicing wired controllers works,
    I can only suggest the exchange or replacement. The only problems we tend to hear about here is regarding wireless controllers, which can be handled through support for service or replacement. The link for that in case you are interested is below, but I
    am not sure how they will handle a wired controller.

    Has the controller been dropped or abused in any way (even if it was accidental)? I am surprised that a wired controller has an issue other than stick drift.

    It just sounds like you need to replace the controller in question. If the wire that is connected to that controller works with another then I don't think we can speculate that it is anything else especially if the USB port works with other accessories.
    How long ago did you purchase this controller? Controllers only have a 90 day warranty.

    For 360 controllers to work on PC without any additional hardware, they must be wired. The 360 play and charge for wireless controllers
    won't turn a wireless controller into a wired one. The reason is simply because the play and charge can not send data, it only provides power.
