Wired controller ports

hi how many WIRED controllers can I plug in to the one x?(currently have 2)

Having problems with my wireless headset.

Troubleshooting doesn't help. Headset connects to port one and as soon as I plug in my wired controller, the controller connects to port 2 and they won't sync together.

Are all Xbox One Controllers going to be Wireless?

I don't really mind if its wired or wireless, what I want is a wired controller that continues to work with my PC! That's the best part about the wired 360 controller is that I can put into my PC and then you have a controller for steam games. What's interesting is that you have a game like Dead Island that ported to the PC and the control scheme still looks like the 360. Pretty funny little failure on their part.

Hey SordidBeatNik!

Your issues with your wired controller may be due to damaged ports in the controller, the cable you're using, or a damaged port in the Xbox. I suggest:

try a different wire/cable to connect your controller
check the ports in your controller
check the ports in your Xbox

It is possible that you may have been too rough with the controller/cable and ended up damaging the cable and/or ports on the Xbox.

Is it a wired or wireless headset?

If wired, try making sure the audio port on the controller is clean as well.

I know that the charging port on the xbox one controllers dont like to be used as wired controllers that's for sure
