    Wired connection issues - Xbox series X


    Hi, every time I switch on my xbox, it does not connect to xbox live.

    Sometimes this is an easy fix, by restarting the xbox. Other times it needs a power off, both cords removed (wait 5 minutes) plug back in and restart. I have also restarted router, with no luck.

    But sometimes this doesn't work either - I just go around in circles until eventually it works.
    I have been going into the network setting and checking connection - "all services available", but it still wont connect to xbox live??? Restart 1, 2 or 5 times and all good?

    Is this just me? Does anyone know a permanent fix?

    For this game you need to be online

    After reading others people’s posts who are having the same issue, it seems this may be a wired networking issue. I unplugged the Ethernet and connected via wifi and it works fine. The wired connection issue with the series X is widespread and Microsoft needs to address this.

    Wired connection for the Series X and wireless for the Series S. Doesn't seem to make much difference.
