    Windows Xbox App sign in


    I have recently purchased the xbox game pass on my windows 10 pc so I could play Sea of thieves. My xbox already has gold purchased so I am a bit confused? I load up Sea of thieves but it doesn't take me past the menu because it says you must sign into xbox
    live to play this. I then go onto the Xbox app but when I load it up, it says we are unable to log you in, please try again later. I have tried multiple solutions but they don't work.

    sign out of the store and xbox apps, sign in to the windows store and xbox app with the account that bought it, download it, then sign out of the store and xbox app and sign back in with your current account.

    You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

    The Xbox App uses the MS store to do it's downloading. Make sure you are signed in on the Windows Store app the correct account as well as the Xbox app.

    If you're signed in on Windows or the Windows Store with a different account that you use for ultimate it could cause some issues.
