"Windows was unable to install your XBOX ACC"

Ok sorry for the double post... after an hour of troubleshooting i found the issue!

For anyone who is interested... If you are logged in windows into your ms account... and you are using another account in the xbox app, and you are redeeming the key inside the xbox app, its not going to be bound to your ms acc, but to your xbox account!

if you try to now login to your xbox acc in the ms store its not going to work! You have to instead make sure that your windows is not bound to your ms acc... you can do this in the settings.

Then you remove the ms acc in the system settings of windows. now you can login to your xbox acc in the ms store...

Hey there McDougall! Well, it could be a number of things. Getting your pc to stream to your xbox can be quite challenging, and can be a trial and error process. I as well have had issues for years, but there usually is a way to clear it up.

You do want to make sure that your firewall is not blocking the communication from pc to xbox and vice versa. Refer to this link for that:

Another possibility is that you may need to make sure the Windows Media Sharing process is running as well. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Open Services. Look for the service towards the bottom called “Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service”.
Highlight the service and make sure the service is running or started.

i dont know why things are made soo difficult ,i get an acc opened by changing password then they go an make the email invalid for 30 days.will the acc holder be getting a refund on xbox gold that was unable to be used,as of now there is a breach of contract
with microsoft as the acc is paid for but not recieving anything

Is this related to you unable to get access to your xbox live acc due to an incorrect password?

If it is so, then what u need to do is log on to your microsoft acc on the web from your computer and go into advance security settings. Once there you will need to find an option saying 'create app password' . Click on it and u will be given a set of alphabetic
password. Enter that password on your xbox console and your all set to go.
