Windows store & Xbox (beta) games CTD on startup

Hi,

Tried all of the above.

Also did SFC /scannow from Command prompt as suggested somewhere in the forums.

This feels like corruption issue of some kind since it started when GoW4 crashed and did not start again with same results as every other game after that.

I'm having the exact same problem. 5 games, all go to a quick splashscreen, and back to desktop.

I have tried everything that's suggested to no avail (even the reinstalling game services as an administrator or reinstalling the Xbox app).

Can't even open Forza Horizon 4, a game i owned way before getting the Game Pass.

I found a way to make it work. Although its a bit of a hassle, it's pretty much the only thing that worked for me as a last resort.

Just get into the boot menu (Shift+click on "shut down") and on restart select ''troubleshoot". I checked the option for Windows too keep my personal files during the repair, so i didn't have to download 4TBs worth of games again. After about 5 mins i booted
into Windows with the repair done. And i kept all my data. Xbox Game Pass games are gone though, but on download they do work again.

I do as well, I'm on Windows 11 22H2 and it's CTD on startup every time. Its been months, i can't find anything to fix this. ANYTHING.
