Windows request - Dim option and Wake up from Sleep mode through controller.

For what it's worth, PS4 will wake from sleep no problem on the same wifi. It's funny. After getting wifi to work again on xb1, upon a power off in instant on mode, it wont wake from the windows 10 app, and wont be connected to wifi again.. ugh.

I noticed mine dimming and thought it was a sleep sort of mode but then when I started playing again it stayed dim :/

If your TV has a sleep option to go to sleep / wake up, depending on HDMI signal then yes.

Try this: Uninstall the game. Set the game to reinstall and immediately put the console in sleep mode. Try to let the console sleep during the entire installation. The install will go much faster and have reduced chance of error in sleep mode. After a bit,
wake the console up and install the update. You may wish to put the console in sleep mode once the update starts. Again, this will make it update faster with reduced chance of error. Then wake the console up a bit later and see if that worked. It should work.

It depends on what it’s doing in sleep mode. If it’s actively downloading and decompressing data, or updating the system, it’s going to use more power. It wakes up every once in a while to check for updates, and other things in sleep mode. That’s why you leave it in sleep mode, so that it updates things while you’re not playing.
