Windows mixed reality test shows bt 4.0 not supported.

I have an acer nitro5 with windows 10 v1803. I want to use an xbox one ccontroller on it for gaming but once I just happened to run the requirements test for windows mixed reality and it says that my device does not have Bluetooth 4.0 for controllers.
Does this mean I can't use the xb1 controller to play games? Or is this issue related to mixed reality only?

VR games

There are no AR/VR titles for Xbox at the moment. There are options if you have a Windows 10 PC and you can find out more about that at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-mixed-reality

Windows Mixed Reality is also compatible with Steam VR titles as well.

No problem at all using a xb1 controller on a PC since you have different ways to connect, the easiest one being via USB that should always be available on a Windows PC.

Windows Mixed Reality is not working for XBOX ONE.

* See at the back on Unit have HDMI OUT only one Port. Connect using VR without Monitor / TV. Because HDMI only one Port. I don't have 2 port for HDMI OUT Adapter.

* Windows Mixed Reality don't have Driver for XBOX ONE.

* I tried it. The Result is Blank or Not Working.

MY SPECS:

DELL VISOR VR118 (Windows Mixed Reality).

You able to play PC on Mixed Reality Portal App go to XBOX App. But I'm Bored.

Then Microsoft should remove the "blutetooth 4.0" requirement for Windows 10 PCs from the device list...

I suspect the Wireless Xbox controller needs BT 4.0 to run properly hence it is listed as a requirement...however, just below that it does say:

"Although touch controls are enabled for select titles, an Xbox Wireless Controller connected via Bluetooth or USB cable is recommended."

So, it does mention using either BT or Wired
