windows live games and xbone

alright, most of us know backwards compatibility is out next week, and theres one game i was desperate for to get on the list (the other games i wanted were a no-brainer for BC).

I have battlestations pacific on PC, and i love the game, but one slight issue. my laptop can't get over 15 fps on lowest graphics on it, which really makes it not as enjoyable. I was looking it up and BS pacific seems very likely to come out for BC, but
it costs £20 in the xbox store and trying to persuade my parents to buy a new copy of the game online, isn't easy.

i may be getting more money soon, but i want to be absolutely sure there is no other easy way of getting it. as it is a windows live game, and it even pops up with my xbox games when browsing achievements or something, i was hoping against all odds this
would mean i could get it on xbone with ease or something. i might pop a ticket to support as well, but i want to be fully sure that there is no way of getting it without spending more money, cause if there is and i buy a new copy, well, its a waste, i guess.

Windows 10, support and release date

@ Ghostz Because XBOne is based on Windows 8 not 10.

You mean a update don't you tohell ? to make it compatible with Windows 10.

XBOne os was designed on Windows 8 hence the tiles look.

 

XBONE Elite controller on Windows 10 NO vibration

Hi

I have an elite XBONE controller running windows 10 and it does not vibrate during games, I have already done the following

- updated drivers using the XBOX accessories app

- Tried using the controller cabled & wireless same result

- plugged in an original xbone controller played same games and vibration works

- tried controller on XBONE and vibration works

any other ideas?

 

If that game goes BC you won't need to buy a digital version. Xbox 360 games that become BC work on disc as well, so you can buy the second hand.

 

so i'll need to buy a new copy? since i only have it on PC but i was hoping since it was a windows live game (which is directly connected to my xbox account) that it may be transferable to xbox. i doubt it is possible, but i just needed 100% assurance.

 

No, Games for Windows games are separate. If this game becomes BC and you want to play it on Xbox One, you'll need an Xbox 360 copy of it. You should be able to get it quite cheaply now second hand.

Only 100 Xbox 360 games will be available on November 12, so you'll need to keep checking the website for new additions.

 

Dude first of all it is not xbone it is xbox one. Learn to respect .secondly there are a lot of sales going on from time to time.
