Windows DVR Recorded clips only shows the first 15 minutes...

Hi, I have a problem with the windows DVR recording. When I use it to record about 1 hour of gameplay I can only watch about 14-16 minutes of the video after. After that time the video will just freeze and not show anything else... Anyone know what the problem
is? I have set the maximum recording time to 2 hours by the way.

Is there a way to change how long my clips can record? It seems like everytime I record a clip it only records the last 15 seconds. Is there a way to make it longer?Click to expand...

Pick how long you want to be recorded of past gameplay (5 minutes max)

Sharing DVR clips

Your DVR clips get posted on SkyDrive which I just dl on my windows phone. I uploaded a cod ghost clip in under 2 minutes. All clips are under 30 seconds. There are many clips from over 20 Xbox one gamers. It shows the most recent uploaded clips and highlights
the users who post many clips. Pretty cool. The quality is not the same as when you recorded but still good enough. The Kinect makes you look like a pro with a million dollar setup. Great job Microsoft.

Hello, and thanks for reporting your issue. Are you saying that the video is an hour long, but hangs at the 15 minute mark, or that the video itself is 15 minutes long?

Thought the latest update would fix this issue, but still having problems recording clips from games like Fallout 4, The Division, and other large games. I can use the Record That, and once use the DVR Snap to record 5 minute clips. But after the first
recording, the next attempt the DVR just circles away.

You can record clips without using the Kinect - simply snap the game dvr app, choose to start or end a clip, the amount of time to record (up to 5 minutes), then it records. It's easy! You can't record a voice-over or show a clip of your face, but the ability
to record without the Kinect IS there. It actually surprises me how many people don't realize it.

Thanks for the reply, but I thought Upload and Game DVR captured 30 second clips only? I want to record 15+ mins of gameplay to upload.
