Windows camera app *HELP! OR FIX THE PROBLEM! XBOX!!!*

Hey there SillyRelic21500,

It appears that this app was designed only for devices with a physical camera button, such as Mobile Phones, PC's and Tablets. It wasn't designed for Xbox One and shouldn't be used on Xbox One since it doesn't have a physical camera button. We're going to
take a closer look at it, but in terms of uninstalling the app, it looks like the only way to remove the app currently from the console is to factory reset the console removing all games and apps. Considering the app is only 9.7 MB, I would just leave it until
a time comes when you need to factory reset your console.

I'll come back to this thread and respond as soon as we have more information or need any additional details and thanks for bringing this to our attention!

1. Type troubleshooting in the search box next to Start icon and select the top most search result.
2. Click on View All from the left hand screen panel.
3. Select Windows Store apps, click on Advanced
   option and check Apply repairs automatically option.
4. Follow the on screen instructions.

If you are trying to install the PSeye camera on a Windows PC, you need to purchase

the latest CL eye driver that you can buy here. You can also find older driver versions for the camera around the net, but it won't work with the "modern" store apps like Skype or the actual camera app for Windows 10.

As the PSeye camera is a bit more exotic than regular cameras, you can't use the PS3 eye on the Xbox One console, and you also can't install a driver on the console.

@IRB, wrong OS. I wasn't talking about the Windows 8/8.1 app. I'm talking about the Windows PHONE 8.1 app not indexing the video in the Windows PHONE camera roll.
