Windows 8 Games App Login Problem

Hello everyone,

I have Windows 8 (not the latest updates, it is one of the first versions i think) and I can't login to Windows 8's Games app. It says "logging in" for ages. What can I do? Should I install the latest Windows updates? Even then, will it be fixed? And one
more question: Can I have Xbox game pass on PC on Windows 8 or should I have Windows 10 for that?

Hi Vermillious,

I recommend installing the latest Windows update and hopefully it should fix it. Otherwise, you need to troubleshoot your PC. Regarding the Xbox pass, Windows 10 is recommended.

The console logins fine, just some windows 8 games don't login.

I was finally able to login (after the site kicked me out once, and i logged in again!) on video.xbox.com. But now the silverlight plugin crashes!!! There is no end to the problems. Everything seeem totally unstable. The Windows Phone app doesnt work. The
site doesn't work. The plugin doesn't work. The Windows 8 app doesn't WORK!

You're old info must be cached. Try closing the game, disassociating your Microsoft account from your PC and then re-associating it with your PC. Launch the game again and it should attempt to login with the current account.
