Windows 8 adding friends problem

Im not sure if this is the right fourm to ask this in ;-;

Hello, I would like to ask about a problem with my Windows 8 Xbox app. It seems that when I add friends on the app, the friends don't get my request. I can see their profile, but they dont get the request. When they add me, they can see me but I dont get
a request from them. Thanks for any help.

It could be a number of reasons:

His friend list contains 100 users. This is the maximum;

The person he is adding already has 100 friends, and it will not accept any more;

The other person's profile does not accept incoming friend requests; or

The connection timed out.

There may be some other reasons, but those are the four most likely I could think of.

If he or the other person needs to clear out their friends lists, do that and try again. Pending requests do count towards the 100.

Otherwise, try doing it by logging into Xbox.com, he may have more luck there.
