Windows 8.1 Games

My Windows 8.1 will no longer load Xbox games (from the green icon marked "Games"). Any ideas? It also refuses to load my Windows Live Mail.

Microsoft Mahjong

This game works on Windows 10, but has never worked on Windows 8.1

I have one computer using Windows 8.1 all my other 5 computers are Windows 10 Pro and the Windows 8.1 has never played this game even when the 8.1 was a clean fresh new OS.

 

Bug with Windows RT 8.1 "Blue" update

Confirmed in a VMware VM running Windows 8.1 Pro preview in addition to the issue I posted earlier.

Seems that MS hasn't tested their own games with Windows 8.1.

Thanks for the help. I did the troubleshooting and still had no games.

I was playing the games that came with the laptop. They're called Xbox games and they're in the green icon that says Xbox.

I think the problem was with Xbox/Microsoft because I have full games usage this morning. Also, I have all the commercials back when I get extra "$" to play with; I had lost the commercials for months and was playing for free. I think Xbox was just shut
down for a couple of days, at least this "free" part of it.
