Windows 11 PC is lagging more than my xbox

I got a pc last year and the wifi was fine until about September. I also have an xbox in my room when I have guests or friends over, but when we play, the xbox gets 20 ping while my pc gets 300+ any way how to fix this?

Are both devices using wifi or a mixture of Ethernet and wifi?

There are a multitude of factors that can affect the lag or devices using wifi etc.

Distance from the router, interference from other devices, other wifi networks around yours etc etc

This is a Windows 11 PC. I don't have another PC that I can try on, but when using my Android phone and turning off the A/V receiver I am able to connect with that device.

The only things I've tried other than that were to ensure that the Xbox, Windows 11 machine, and the Xbox app on the Windows 11 machine are all updated, which they are.

windows 11 is close at hand

xbox companion is more of a side thought than anything

lots of new stuff for windows 11 that is still to come

What are your PC specs? If they're under the minimum requirements, I don't think you can install the game.

Also, you'll need more than 100GB of available storage.

If you can, upgrading to Windows 11 might help as it is more optimized for gaming than Windows 10.

ive heard upgrading to windows 11 fixes it, but my problem with windows 11 is that all of my other games run terribly (extreme lag) because they havent been configured to windows 11 yet. So if that is really a fix, then i dont want that one. All my games run fine normally on windows 10, but they just dont like windows 11 or something
