Windows 11 and 10

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game that you added the mods to? Here are some suggestions you can try.

1. Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files (microsoft.com) If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files.

2. Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and select Run as administrator.
   
2. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
   
3. get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
   
4. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
   
5. start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
   
6. Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
   
7. Restart your device and try to install the game again.

That's odd. When you installed Windows 11, did you upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 or did you do a clean install with Windows 11?

By the way, are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

Is your computer on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

most of the features of the companion app are gone in windows 11, as the app is being discontinued slowly on windows 10 and 11.
