Windows 11 22h2 Fresh install(tried 2 times) Xbox Game Bar is not working properly, only...

Hi Josef,

All the windows updates are fully completed. When i hit Windows+G i only get the capture and audio screen nothing else :

After a reboot, when ihit the xboxbutton, the first thing it show is a message saying there is application associated with MS-GAMEBAR then, after a few seconds, it disapear and when i click again on the xbox button i get that :









- I have restarted multiple times and double checked all the updates are done

- I have tried to update the app from the Windows store

- I have tried to repair, reset the app from the app menu.

Please make sure that everything is up to date (usually when you do a clean install, windows need to install extra things to work properly)

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

Don't forget to restart the PC once everything is up to date and try again .

If the issue persists, may i know if you can open the game bar with Windows key + G?

I managed to fix it !!! As you said there was an update to do in the MS Store on the app, i had to go in the Library ans i way there was an update for MS Game Bar.

Now everything is working correctly. Thanks!

I still have to note that is not very intuitive, the update should have happend automatically.

Hi, I'm glad to hear that indeed you needed to update the game bar and Xbox apps inside the store
Usually you need to manually check for updates the first time
