    Windows 10 Xbox stream audio issues


    Okay so im new to streaming i play fortnite , originally i would broadcast on my xbox console to twitch and stream with no face cam , i didnt have any audio issues or anything. i have a windows 10 Hp laptop that has given me the choice to stream from the
    xbox app through my computer , and doimg so i hooked up streamlabs obs to my twitch to stream . Everything is fine i do have some lag but overall when im in a solo i have no overall issues . Im writing this post to see if i can get some help with the fact
    that when i try to stream the xbox app on my computer with obs to twitch and join squads my squad cant hear me but i can hear them . But then when i unplug my headset ( which is plugged into my xbox controller ) and put it back in i can see my little speaker
    icon next to my name move as if my mic is on but i can no longer hear my squad but the audio of their voices is coming out of my Pc and not my headset , i can still hear the game but none of them . But when i turn the xbox stream off all of the audio goes
    back to my headset and my squad can hear me ? I only have issues when i try to stream from the xbox app on the pc . Ive so far spent 48 hours trying to figure this out and i just cant . My pc is up to date and the only reason i stream the xbox to my pc is
    because the fortnite download was having some issues .

    Thanks for the reply and update to the issue with streaming from console to PC. To help clarify the issue a bit more:

    • What type of network connection are you using on the devices? (Xbox/ PC)
    • Have you tested the speed on both devices? (Xbox/PC)

    As others have stated, there is no way to record your audio while using the 'record from now' function.

    I stream to mixer and that captures my mics audio, and it's really easy to do too.

    The only other alternatives to a capture card is to stream directly from your console to Mixer or Twitch, or use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to stream your console's audio and video to the windows 10 device, then you can use some other software to record,
    or stream. ( I hope that made sense).
