Windows 10 Xbox Live Forza Street - Cannot Connect To The Store

Screenie says it all.

I can play Forza Street just fine on Windows 10.

I can log into the xbox store in a web browser, no problem, with the account I am gaming on.

Troubleshooting for networking shows no xbox issues.

I actually want to buy some in-game stuff. :-(

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the in-game store. I recommend double checking the PC is connected to the appropriate account and try visiting the developers support team for more in-game assistance:

Reinstalling Xbox app had no effect. Another interesting thing, I cannot see Forza Horizon 4 in my "Installed apps" in Microsoft Store.

Forza cannot be opened anymore (the error popup window redirects to the ms-store which forza cannot be opened from either), and the xbox launcher won't launch. Microsoft Store looking for updates runs forever.

UPDATE:
I reinstalled Xbox GameServices and now the game starts again with the error code 0x12c as before

What digital content did you purchase? (Forza Horizon Standard Edition, Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition)
What device are you using? (Xbox One, Windows 10)
Do you have an active
Xbox Live Gold Subscription?

I would recommend to try this Xbox one troubleshooting for
Multiplayer Connection test on Xbox One.
