Windows 10 Xbox Game Bar - “Looking for group”

Hi there!

having an issue with Xbox Game Bar, using to join other groups in Sea of thieves, actually to join theres no problem, but if i would create a group, the gamebar itself like crashed and stops working, or either reload cause after i can use it without any
problem to join other groups, but to make will be the same gets crashed and reloads.

Any sloution please?

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. If you haven't already done so, you may wish to try the troubleshooting in the support articles

Troubleshoot Game Bar on Windows 10 and Fix problems with Game bar on Windows 10 to see if they will help get you back to recording
your gameplay.

Alternatively, I would also recommend checking out the following support thread concerning the Game bar:

In addition to some great information, it also contains the steps for reporting any issues that you're currently experiencing in your Gamebar as well.

Give the troubleshooting a try and let us know the results.

Hi! I don't know if and where to look within the registry, but have you looked in the game bar settings (Windows 10 Settings -> Gaming -> Game bar)? These links might help as well:

Hi there!

Thank you for coming to the forums. I'd be happy to try and help.

Does it not allow you to drag it from the top banner of the game bar? Pressing the Windows Key + G will bring up the Game Bar so believe pressing it again should hide the game bar.
